VAZATA Successfully Performs Customer Disaster Recovery Testing

Dallas, Texas, August 6, 2014 – VAZATA, a full service cloud infrastructure, managed services and colocation provider, announces today that it successfully performed a disaster recovery test as part of their Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) solution offering.

DRaaS allows customers to replicate their mission critical applications in VAZATA’s geographically diverse data center locations, which in the event of a disaster, allows businesses to avoid catastrophic downtime. VAZATA has a wide range of options that can be tailored to a customer’s specific need around a RPO (Recovery Point Objective) and a RTO (Recovery Time Objective).

VAZATA delivers the DRaaS solution offering to cloud and colocation customers hosted at their Tier III data centers in Dallas and Northern Virginia as well as to customers who require their own on-premises solution. As a planned exercise, VAZATA performs regular tests with DRaaS customers to ensure availability and performance. The VAZATA operations team delivers direct access to their DR environment allowing for all functions to be tested by their customers.
