Dallas, Texas, August 19, 2014- VAZATA, a full service cloud infrastructure, managed services and colocation provider, has committed to support the 2014 American Heart Association Dallas HeartWalk in partnership with an existing, healthcare related VAZATA customer.
The American Heart Association, a non-profit organization in the United States that fosters appropriate cardiac care in an effort to reduce disability and deaths caused by cardiovascular disease and stroke, is celebrating 20 years of the Heart Walk and VAZATA has donated to the cause. The Dallas HeartWalk, scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 2014, is an event that brings awareness to cardiovascular health with a goal to reduce deaths due to stroke or disease by 20 percent by the year 2020.
In recent years, the event has grown substantially and this year, the American Heart Association announced that the Dallas Heart Walk is the largest in the nation. VAZATA chose to support Dallas HeartWalk as way to give back to the community in order to help raise awareness for the cause.
