Plano, Texas, December 12, 2012 – VAZATA, a full service cloud infrastructure, managed services and colocation provider, today unveiled its newly launched VAZATA Research Lab initiative. The company hosted over fifty DFW IT executives at the company’s quarterly vConnect Series Luncheon and Lance Black, CEO of VAZATA, presented preliminary findings from a Q4 2012 Disaster Recovery and Virtualization study.
Lance Black said, “we’re pleased with the turnout. The vConnect events are designed to bring together members of the local IT community so we can interact and network in a casual environment while also driving insightful dialogue on a key topic. Today’s topic was focused on migration strategies from physical environments to virtualization. We were able to share interesting findings from our first VAZATA-sponsored research initiative that pertained to this topic. Through our newly launched Research Lab, we’ll continue to sponsor primary research studies that bring us closer to the viewpoints of our marketplace and we’ll continue to share trend lines, executive perspectives and benchmarks with our prospects and customers.”
The VAZATA Research Lab will publish a comprehensive report from the Q4 2012 Disaster Recovery and Virtualization Study in mid-January. VAZATA has also announced March 20, 2013 as the date for it’s next vConnect Luncheon.
