The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) organization – a global, cause-based, not-for-profit association focused on better health through information technology held their 6th annual conference and exhibition in Dallas, Texas. This year’s agenda focused on the ever changing healthcare landscape with a conference theme titled: “Healthcare IT Innovation – It’s a BIG Deal”. The conference welcomed over 400 regional and national healthcare IT professionals, all present to participate in discussions about how to better improve systems and capabilities in an ever evolving industry, including that of attaining various compliance certifications.
As a member and sponsor of this year’s HIMSS conference, VAZATA was able to connect and inform attendees about compliance in the cloud and how to best leverage multi-tenant infrastructure to mission critical web based applications. “With our headquarters in Plano, a growing base of customers in the healthcare industry, and a HIPAA compliant cloud platform, the HIMSS event in Dallas offered us a chance to network on a local level with healthcare I.T. professionals,” said John Greenwood, EVP of Sales and Marketing for VAZATA.
