Sales Engineer - Dallas, TX and Northern Virginia

Responsibilities:
  • For the position in Virginia, you must be able to commute to Washington DC and the Northern Virginia area daily.
  • Prior experience working with Federal agencies a plus.
  • Ability to self-motivate and work in an unsupervised environment.
  • Direct customer presentation and relationship skills a must.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a sales team environment


Qualifications:
  • Successful track record in pre-sales environments with proven background in IaaS/ cloud services, colocation, disaster recovery/ business continuity.
  • Prior experience answering government RFPs is highly desirable.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization required.
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, IP routing, Windows OS, Linux, Internet Security concepts and Telecommunication infrastructure and Services.
  • VMWare knowledge and certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements to a diverse audience.
  • Easily adaptable to a fast-paced business environment.

Level II Systems Engineer - Dallas, TX

We are a growing managed services company located in Plano, TX looking for a new team member that can make an immediate impact within our organization with their leadership and technical skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage system and/or network issues to resolution
  • Manage new installations and migrations.
  • Identify ways to improve ours or clients' systems and infrastructure (upgrades to hardware, software, and network).
  • Perform network administration including installing, configuring and supporting file and print services.
  • Exchange email system, SQL Server, SharePoint and Active Directory management.
  • Remotely respond to alerts, resolve server/network issues remotely. Drive to client sites to resolve onsite issues.
  • Provide technical support on a wide variety of issues focused around Windows Server environments down to the end user level.
  • Manage our client network/server proactive monitoring system.
  • Setup, manage and monitor backup systems for clients.
  • Enter ticket information into company ticketing system.
  • Troubleshoot issues over the phone or remotely using our management tools and go onsite to client sites as needed.
  • Implement and manage Active Directory, backup solutions, Antivirus.
  • Develop proactive maintenance plans, light project planning, proposal development and presales support.
  • Onsite projects will require local travel to customers in the DFW area. Work evenings and weekends as needed for after-hours implementations, patch management and client support.
  • Work as a team to provide technical leadership to junior network administrators.

    Job requires some onsite travel to DFW based customer sites and an occasional visit to our facility in Manassas, VA.


Qualifications:
  • This is a customer facing position and requires excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Minimum 3 year Experience with implementation, administration and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2003/2008 and Active Directory.
  • Must have strong hands-on networking experience.
  • 1 years SQL Server administration skills required.
  • 2 years hands-on experience implementing and administering Exchange Server 2003/2007.
  • 2 years hands-on experience with virtualization (VMWare) desired
  • 2 years hands-on experience working with SAN solutions
  • SharePoint Server administration experience desired
  • Hands-on experience in backup technologies, backup support/ maintenance required
  • Hands-on experience with supporting windows clients in a network environment
  • Must have desire to learn new technologies through self-study and our vendor relationships
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently


Eduction Requirements:
  • Minimum industry certifications
  • MCSE 2003 or MCITP

Lead Generation Specialist

The Lead Generation Specialist position is mainly a communications position and performs prospecting functions. It will utilize your professional communication, your research and interviewing skills, as well as your marketing and sales skills. The Lead Generation Specialist calls companies across the US and talks to professionals about their business needs and initiatives to identify the most appropriate decision maker is in the company (usually a director, VP or even C-Level). They then initiate a conversation with the decision maker to introduce our products & services, educate the decision maker on what value we have to offer, asks questions of the decision maker and their business and then attempts to set a meeting with the decision maker and the Vazata sales executive.

In this position you will use the phone, email and in person meetings to communicate with the prospective companies. After each contact that you make with the company, you document the result of each call, update the database and type clear and concise notes.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

Enterprise Account Executive

The Enterprise Account Executive's role is to identify and close new infrastructure as a service business, forecast opportunity performance and manage sales pipeline. The Enterprise Account Executive will call on small to medium sized companies across the US and work with the appropriate decision makers (usually a director, VP or even C-Level) to uncover their business needs and initiatives then identify and recommend the most appropriate Vazata solution. They will also work closely with the sales support group to ensure the successful implementation of customer solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Prospecting, identifying and closing sales of Vazata's products and services.
  • Develop relationships in a consultative sales process by uncovering and understanding client requirements, then match those needs with the appropriate solution to sell new business.
  • Create new customers from inbound sales leads (telephone, chat, and email)
  • Create new customers from current customer referrals
  • Outbound opportunity generation
  • Develop relationships with potential partners in order to generate leads and joint marketing activities.
  • Prepare sales quotes, negotiate offers and process sales orders
  • Communicate regularly with customers to ensure satisfaction and improve communication
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions
  • Participate in the development of new service ideas and sales strategies as needed
  • Assist sales support with ensuring client product installation success and client usage in order to optimize client satisfaction


Required Skills
  • 4 year college degree preferred
  • Should have 3+ years proven sales experience in managed services or a related field, such as data networking products or Internet services.
  • Ability to generate and close complex sales opportunities.
  • Must be able to generate your own leads through cold calling, email campaigns and networking.
  • Experience in selling complex services to businesses required.
  • Successful track record in meeting sales quota objectives required.
  • Must have a basic understanding of and experience in strategic selling.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment required.
  • Must have the ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated.
  • Must have strong verbal and written skills.
  • Must be willing to learn and adapt as necessary to accommodate changes in industry and company directions.
  • Must be able to demonstrate presentation skills and be comfortable presenting to both small and large audiences
